Helltown Kitchen

Heads up, there's a new king in Provincetown! Helltown is not a restaurant, it's an experience. The dinner I had there wasn't just incredibly good, it was fun. The menu is ballsy, sexy, innovative, the combinations are brilliant and they take a lot of risks. The food is colorful and creative, REALLY spicy, not meant for the faint of heart. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 main courses and one dessert. The avocado and crab was generous, nutty and creamy, the shrimp had a nice kick to it and dipping the tostones in the hot sauce that came with it was just amazing (I would suggest a little drop of lime on the shrimp though). The steak was cooked to perfection, it was a delicious cut, the yucca fries were crunchy and nicely seasoned and the chimichurri sauce was a genius idea. I thought that the coconut curry cod was the absolute best. The fish was soft and tasty, the sauce milky, delicate, like a warm embrace on the palate and the basmati rice soaked all of it and made the overall texture perfect. I do believe though that the superstar of the meal was the dessert, a marvelous, Mexican style, churro-based cheesecake. Words cannot possibly describe how delicious it was. A crunchy, sugary base topped with a refreshing cream cheese, delicate notes of cinnamon that linger in your mouth long after you've had a bite. The drinks were also very well executed, the service was good, nice and professional, nobody rushed us and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I can't wait to go back to Provincetown just to have dinner there again. Thanks for such a beautiful evening!

You have to go here next time you are in Provincetown as the food is simply amazing and the staff are fantastic. We had the warm goat cheese salad to start followed by Salmon with black risotto and the Caribbean Seafood Stew. Our cocktails to start were delicious and they had a great wine selection. Everything was paced to perfection. Our server Elia was the best, very personable and attentive. The owner Will took time out to say hello and brought a sample of their Vindaloo which I am getting the next time as it was spectacular. Thank you for a great night, can’t wait to come back.

The food is exquisite and elegantly plated and service is warm and friendly. And they even have sparkles for birthday celebration ! Helltown will be our returning spot !!

Dinner at Helltown last night was delicious! It’s been on my list for a few years now, and I finally made it! Started with the picante Paloma (a little sweet and artificial for my tastes but loved the heat). We shared the special croquettes for an appetizer, which were yummy. I then had the pork vindaloo and my dining partner had the seafood stew. Both entrees were really good! The mussels on the stew were a little overdone, but, other than that, no complaints! Would definitely come back.

We had an amazing dinner at Helltown! Everyone was very friendly and the food was fantastic! We started with some great cocktails. The outdoor courtyard creates a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We ordered Gazpacho and Elote corn as appetizers which were great. Then Goat cheese salad and the Helltown kitchen salad. These were awesome and again very generous portions. For entrees we orders the Caribbean Seafood stew and the Tofu Vindaloo which were amazingly flavorful. For dessert we shared the delicious deconstructed strawberry shortcake. Great value for money and we left full! We will definitely be back.

We decided to try Helltown Kitchen for dinner last night. The food was amazing from start to finish. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The presentation was beautiful from the drinks to the dessert. I will definitely be returning here for dinner next time I am in Provincetown. The service was fabulous as well. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Luckily I had reserved dinner for the six of us a few weeks ago. This was the only dinner that we had in P town that everybody in the group raved about. There wasn’t a single dish that people were unhappy with. We had a great table on the outdoor terrace. Our server was energetic and kind, we had terrific cocktails and the food was just delicious. The place was pretty busy so I think they will be able to make it through the pandemic, especially because I hope to return next summer!

Helltown Kitchen is highly recommended! We sat in the courtyard - it was very cute and private. My partner had the Chicken Vindaloo and I had the Seafood Paella which was great! They have vegan options available.
